The efficiency of GaN transistors is higher, with an efficiency of approximately 55-65% (theoretically) after subtracting the thruster (heating power consumption). In fact, below 2.4G, it is 52%, while above 2.4G, it is 55%.
LDMOS is only around 45% -55%,so using GaN modules has low power consumption and slow heating.
